2023 Seal of Good Local Governance

READ: ISABELA EXCELS IN GOOD LOCAL GOVERNANCE AS DILG REVEALS 2023 SGLG AWARDEES

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) officially released the 493 Local Government Units (LGUs) recognized for the most coveted Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for the year 2023.

Among the distinguished awardees are the Province of Isabela, the City of Ilagan, and Santiago City, alongside 25 municipalities that have showcased outstanding governance.

The Province of Isabela proudly stands as a beacon of excellence in local governance, having secured the SGLG in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022.

This remarkable success is a result of collaborative efforts involving local governments, stakeholders, and the dedicated employees of the Provincial Government of Isabela, all under the dynamic leadership of Governor Rodito T. Albano III and Vice Governor Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III.

The forthcoming national awarding ceremony, scheduled for December 13 and 14, 2023, will be a momentous celebration, recognizing "tapat at mahusay na pamamahala" or honest and excellent governance. This achievement represents another milestone in Isabela's journey toward exemplary local governance, highlighting the unwavering dedication of its leaders and communities.
