In affirmation of their steadfast commitment to governance excellence, two cities and 25 municipalities in Isabela achieved a momentous milestone by securing the prestigious Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for 2023.

Leading the pack are the City of Ilagan and Santiago City, meeting the stringent criteria set by the SGLG and setting an inspiring benchmark for outstanding governance.

Across the province, Isabela's 25 municipalities showcased exceptional governance practices, reinforcing the province's standing as a bastion of effective and responsible leadership.


The municipalities that have successfully passed the SGLG include Alicia, Angadanan, Aurora, Benito Soliven, Burgos, Cabagan, Cabatuan, Cordon, Delfin Albano, Echague, Jones, Mallig, Naguilian, Ramon, Reina Mercedes, Roxas, San Agustin, San Guillermo, San Isidro, San Manuel, San Mariano, San Mateo, Santa Maria, Santo Tomas, and Tumauini.
