Governor Rodito T. Albano III, along with Mayor Kervin Francis Uy of Burgos, Isabela, joined President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s delegation during a two-day state visit to Vietnam on January 29 to 30, 2024.
The visit aimed to bolster the strategic partnership between the Philippines and Vietnam, focusing on maritime cooperation, trade, agriculture, and investment relations.
During the visit, Governor Rodito witnessed the signing of agreements in Rice Trade Cooperation between the Philippines and Vietnam. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) reflects both nations' commitment to ensure a sustainable food supply amidst global challenges like climate change and pandemics.

Kristine Joy Guzman, from the City of Ilagan, was crowned Queen Isabela 2024 last night at Queen Isabela Park, triumphing over 27 other candidates.
Precious Faith Mirasol from Sta. Maria clinched the title of Queen Isabela Tourism, while Jhudiel Eunisse Taguinod from Echague claimed the title of Queen Isabela Culture and the Arts. The first runner-up is Grace Esther Due, representing Roxas, and the second runner-up is Alexis Ann Ramos from Cauayan City.
Other delegates who secured a spot in the Top 10 were Maria Cristina Ysabela Caliguiran from Tumauini, Ara Joy Pasicolan from San Mateo, Francheska Andrea Servan from Alicia, Alain Mariel Bagunu from Cabagan, and Maira Odessa Ignacio from Cordon.
The newly crowned Queen Isabela received P100,000 from the provincial government, a crown designed by Arnel Papa, a sash, a bouquet, a Queen Isabela designer trophy, and a trip to Singapore and Boracay, among other prizes.
